Lee Ellis is a British multimedia artist based in Bristol who studied Graphic Design at the University of the West of England. His expressive works combine vibrant colours with dark, emotional themes, often using the human face as a starting point for experimentation.
Working with oils, spray paint, and charcoal, Ellis creates layered works defined by energy and contrast. His artistic style has been influenced by Arnulf Rainer, Francis Bacon, and Lucian Freud. Since 2007, he has exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions across the United Kingdom.
